Credentials

The CloudBD credentials.json is used to securely connect your CloudBD disks to your CloudBD account, similar to a software product key. It is used by both the CloudBD software driver and the CloudBD CLI to authenticate requests such as disk creation, deletion, and usage reporting. Care should be taken to ensure your credentials.json data is always kept secret. If your credentials.json file is compromised please contact CloudBD support to get a new set of account credentials.

Get Credentials

A copy of your credentials.json file is available from the CloudBD management website.

  1. Sign in to the CloudBD management console
  2. Select the Credentials page
  3. Select the 'Get Credentials' button
  4. Your credentials.json file is saved to your Downloads folder
